Tac-M79 37mm Wood Stocked Top Break Launcher is NOT firearm.  Do NOT fire any round meant for a firearm in any 37mm launcher.  Specifically do not use an adapter to fire 12 gauge or centerfire rounds or rimfire rounds.  DO NOT use Beehive rounds.  This launcher is not a firearm and damage to yourself or the launcher is likely if you violate this warning.  Further, you would be in violation of BATF rules.  The Warranty will be void under any of these conditions. The Tac-M79 comes with an original Military Surplus wood buttstock and a newly crafted black walnut forend.

We have also had to manufacture our own aluminum butt plates.  Original parts for the M-79 are getting harder and harder to come by.    Note that the stock is surplus and the condition can vary from pristine to used with some dings and scrapes.  Note also that we have had to modify the stocks to fit our adapter to mount it on our receiver.  The fact is that these stocks can vary appreciably and that the fit to the adapter can vary.  Just be aware that you should not expect the wood to metal fit of a bespoke German double rifle 🙂

All launchers include original GI sling swivels installed.

The Tac-79 is a versatile launcher that can be configured in multiple ways:

• Tactically with either a collapsible AR stock or a solid A2 type stock

• Conveniently as a pistol with a 6″ barrel

• Historically with an authentic Mil-Surp M79 wood stock

The launcher comes with one 4″ Picatinny Rail mounted at the 12 o’clock position on the breech end of the barrel.
